Sensonics OverSpeed Protection Module – Sentry G3 OSP

The Sentry G3 OSP is a 19” x 3U rack based instrumentation system which accepts a range of sensor inputs for the monitoring of critical rotating plant. The racking format can accept up to 6- off Sentry G3 modules which each have up to 4 channels of sensor monitoring.

The module is provided with an optional intuitive colour LCD display and drive facility to provide immediate viewing and access to the measured machine parameters. Several modes of display are available including an alarm historian and parameter trending per channel.

To safeguard the critical machine, i.e. steam turbine, engine from Overspeed failure. Complied to API670 standard.

Overspeed Protection:

The Overspeed Protection when set shall capture maximum machine speed event following a shutdown. This positive going alarm can be allocated to an appropriate relay. Features:
